“We were going to take public transport to the zoo, but there were limited options on the weekend so we decided to book a driver. The road conditions were difficult but our driver (Anna, I think) was very careful. My only complaint would be that the van was a bit crowded with 6 passengers.”

There are 2 guides and they are polite and took care of us well throughout. The guides also booked the restaurant table for us as it’s too crowded. Lastly. We couldn’t see polar bear.”

“The zoo trip was great in particular they had snow compared to where we were in santa village. This allowed us to have a snowball fight, snow angels and build snow men which up to that point we wernt able to do. The zoo itself is different to conventional zoos where there are huge enclosures for the animals. We saw about half the animals as during winter some of them were asleep. The sweet shop there is very reasonable priced in comparison to santavillage where the same box sweets were 5e in zoo n 16e in santa village. The gift shop n resteraunt have a huge selection of food. “My husband and I enjoyed this small group tour of the reindeer farm and the husky adventure. It had snowed the night before and snowed throughout our tour, which actually added to the experience. Our guide was Victor, and he was awesome; very friendly and knowledgeable, and did all he could to ensure the group enjoyed the tour. We enjoyed the interactions with the animals and the short but very pleasant sleigh rides with both the reindeer and the huskies. These rides are intentionally short which was perfect for us. “Most animals/birds were in their natural habitat; no cramped cages. A delightful walk through the zoo along a wooden "trail." Nice eateries for afterward, plus a sinful chocolate store to enjoy during the ride home. Worth the 1-hour drive each way.”
